Vegan Everything-Free Snickers


This little wonder was born in Tertulia, during one of those cozy, dreamy afternoons where someone says,"I wish I could eat Snickers every day and not feel guilty about it..."Enter my brilliant friend Anja, who took that craving seriously — and after many delicious (and slightly messy) attempts, she nailed it.


The result?

A vegan, gluten-free, guilt-free, everything-free-but-flavor-packed snack with three layers of love: Oats. Peanut Butter. Chocolate.

That's it. That’s the magic!

Vegan Everything Free Snickers


Ingredients


  • Oats

  • Chestnut flour

  • Peanut butter

  • Tahini

  • Dates

  • Walnuts

  • Dark chocolate

  • Oat milk

  • Edible flowers for a festive finish



Procedure


  • Layer 1 – The Base That Holds It All Together: In a blender, combine hot water and oats. Strain out the liquid (save it for another purpose, like a face mask!) and set aside the oat pulp. Stir in a dash of chestnut flour and a handful of extra oats. This hearty mix forms the base of your vegan Snickers.

  • Shape & Bake: Scoop your oat mixture into little cookie shapes. Pro tip: use a knife to smooth out the edges for that perfect round look. Pop them in the oven at 200°C (390°F) for 15 minutes until they’re just golden and crisp. Let them cool off — they’ve earned it!

  • Layer 2 – The Decadent, Chewy Middle: Now, time to create the luscious paste! Toss dates, walnuts, peanut butter, and tahini into your blender. It’s going to be thick and a bit stubborn at first, but keep on blending until you achieve a creamy, dreamy consistency. Spread this delightful paste on top of each cookie base, gently molding it into a round layer with your fingers.

  • Layer 3 – The Grand Chocolate Finale: Melt your dark chocolate with a splash of oat milk using a bain-marie (or your favorite microwave trick). Drizzle or spread this glossy chocolate over your peanut butter layer. Watch as it cascades over the sides, making everything irresistibly rich.

  • Final Touch – The Fun Decor: Top off your creation with a sprinkle of edible flowers. Not only does it add a pop of color, but it also makes your vegan Snickers look as enchanting as they taste!

  • Chill Out: Pop your finished bars in the fridge so the chocolate can set and everything can come together in perfect harmony.
